AWARD OF THE CAMPANA DE OROPESA STAGE
On March 15, 2018, PESA MEDIOAMBIENTE, according to the resolution of the Castilla-La Mancha Water Infrastructure Contracting Authority, was awarded the construction works for the project to improve and expand the DWTP in Campana de Oropesa y Cuatro Villas, in Toledo.
The amount awarded is 1,686,700 euros, with a 12-month execution period.
The purpose of the contract is to carry out the necessary works to solve both the needs of the treatment capacity currently required and the problems detected in the treatment, given the variability in the quality of the influent waters, collected from the Tiétar River or the Navalcan Reservoir.
To this end, the solutions envisaged are in line with three general objectives:
- Increase the treatment capacity of the current installations (from 100 l/sg to 150 l/sg)
- Improve the quality of treated water, regardless of the source and quality parameters of the raw water.
- Produce a discharge suitable for delivery with certain characteristics and at a discharge point (Guadyerbas River), according to the requirements set by the Tagus Hydrographic Confederation.
